Congratulations to the Seven Hills Dive Team – City Meet Champions! With a combined score on the 1 Meter and the 3 Meter of 136 points, Seven Hills beats 2nd Place winner Hillwood by 4 points, with the Hillwood score of 132. Seven Hills had 50 Divers competing in the City Meet which was held on Thursday at Sequoia. Every single diver did a GREAT job and contributed to our victory! With only a 4 point difference in 1st and 2nd place, it really shows how every single diver on our team contributed to this victory! Congratulations again to our Seven Hills Dive Team!

The Seven Hills Dive Team had another big WIN on Thursday over Belle Meade Country Club!

Seven Hills score was 62, and Belle Meade had 35 points. We are looking forward to the Dive Team competing in the City Meet at Sequoia next Wednesday, July 14th. Our divers have been working so hard, so please come cheer on our team if you can! A schedule of events will be posted in the clubhouse on Monday.

Congratulations to the Seven Hills Dive team on their win Thursday over Sequoia, Murfreesboro and the West Meade Dive teams! Our dive team pulled out a huge victory winning with 65 Points. Second place went to the Murfreesboro team with 28 points, third was Sequoia with 8 points and West Meade finished with 5 points.

Great job to our dive team who has worked so hard this summer!

The last 4 years, the team placed 2nd in the City Meet, and we know that we’ll have another great season. Coach Vanessa Rolfe is back for her seventh year. Joining her again will be Assistant Coaches Emily Beavers, Mia Elbon, Rachel Elbon, and Becca Rolfe. Ryan Barrick, who brings 5 years of diving experience, will also be assisting during the dive season this summer.

All kids are encouraged to sign up for the Dive Team at the Swim Team Kick Off on Sunday, April 25th from 3 – 5pm at the clubhouse. We can’t
wait to see all of our returning divers and welcome all newcomers! We offer the Dive Team from 5 years to the age of 18. We welcome you to come and “try it out” the first week!

Our first practice is Tuesday, June 1st.

Practice Schedule 2010
8:15 am to 9am – Ages 7 to 10
9:00 am to 10am – Ages 11 and up
10:00 am to 10:45am – Ages 7 to 10
10:45 am to 11:15am – 6 and under

Our first practice is Tuesday, June 1st. Regular practices will be Monday through Friday for the first few weeks, and after the dual meets start for swimming and diving, regular practices will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Dive meets on Thursday mornings. We will also schedule Monday and Wednesday afternoon practices from 4:00 to 5:00pm.

Fees: $100 for children 7 and older;
$80 for children 6 and younger.

As mentioned above, Dive Meets are on Thursdays.

Tentative dates for the Dive Meets are
June 24th
July 1st
July 8th

City Meet will most likely be scheduled on Wednesday, July 14th.
